I completed my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at the California School of Professional Psychology and participate in ongoing, intensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Additionally, I have completed extensive coursework in Substance Use & Dependence through the University of California San Diego. I welcome the opportunity to work with families and individuals struggling with or affected by addiction.

01.
I utilize a transformative approach to therapy called AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) which helps individuals access and process emotions in a safe and supportive environment. Through experiential techniques, AEDP fosters deep emotional connections and promotes healing through self-discovery. Together we explore inner experiences leading to greater resilience and personal growth.
02.
Family sessions focus on the emotional bonds between family members. Goals can include helping family members understand and improve their relationships, work together to resolve conflicts, repair attachment injuries, enhance communication, and foster deeper connections. Ultimately the overarching aim is to create healthier dynamics and increase the capacity to support and attune to one and other.
03.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples is a structured approach that helps couples identify and understand their emotional responses and the ways in which they get stuck in conflict or other maladaptive patterns of relating. I create a safe environment for couples to express feelings and uncover valuable insight. With the assistance of the EFT model, partners can access opportunities to deepen intimacy, heal relationship injuries, and enhance relationship satisfaction.
